Christmas Nail Designs 2012

Merry Christmas Everybody!!!

Yes it is true - I am back :D

I am seriously sorry that I havent done ANYTHING in the last few month... kinda embarassing actually.

But I was so damn stressed with job and moving and othr trouble that I just... didnt do anything. Just average colours. 

But now the dark times are (for now) over ^^

Since it is christmas time I designed a few things this year which I wanted to show you guys.
I unfortunately didnt do any progress pictures but at least the final results.

1) Present Nails

These nails I did already in the end ov november, and they were suuuper short. But whatever :D

I used pink as a base color, red glitter as a topper and created the presents with a white striper brush ;)

2) Winter Landscape Nails

Bad bad light but I hope you can still see well :)

Pearl blue as a background, snow with a white striper brush, trees with a tiny nail art brush and snow with a dotting tool :)

3) Snowflake Nails 

Metallic blue (or blurple, it has a touch of purple in real) as a base, OPI Pirouette My Whistle glitter on top and snowflakes with a white striper brush ;)

31 Day Challenge 2012 - Day 30: Inspired By A Tutorial

Hiiiiii Babez ^^

Late like always..I know I know :D

My camera somehow kinda died today, so I can only show you ONE picture which turned out okay, the rest went blurry and weird...  I hope it is again just the battery - pleeease >_<

I REALLY really need a new one, since my good Panasonic Lumix cam broke in june I just have these ultra old canon and we alays fight with each other. She makes a lot of macro shots very blurry, (you anyway have to go away soo far until she is fine with the distance), is totally sensitive about "too dark" or "too light" situations and makes me crazy - I should order a new one already from Amazone Germany *grrrr*

Yeah, underwater nails ;) I was so out of any ideas and accidently found this video and thought...okay ;)

I created some of the same ideas but changed my design a little with own accents - I hope you like it ^^

I will try tomorrow to take a picture of the polishes I used when the cam is hopefully fixed :)

31 Day Challenge 2012 - Day 29: Inspired By The Supernatural

Hiiiii ;)

How are you girls? I am between life and death because of my flu and might have a special connection to the supernatural today loool. 

Okay. Supernatural. Sounds spooky, scary, dark... all things I DONT like >_<
I am a person who is very sensitive, super easy so scare and super afraid of supernatural stuff :D I would NEVER survive a haloween in america :)

So I thought what else I can do, and started to google. Supernatural...hm... and then it came - the nice side :) Elfs, fairies, angels, good witches and mermaids - and here we go:

Cat (me) created a mermaid tail design ^__^

Polishes I used:

• Golden Rose White Nail Art Polish
• Viva La Diva ..I am not sure about the number...
• Kone Helsinki "U28"
• China Glaze "Techno"
• Wild and Crazy "Free Will"

I started painting my nails with one coat of the pearl white polish. After I choose a very sheer purple and turquoise and painted one coat over the pearl polish. It is really very very sheer :D Then I picked my white nail art polish and created the diamond pattern. After I applied one more coat of the purple and turquoise to make the white pattern a little bit more...subtle. Now you can see HOW sheer it is :D

Here one picture before I added the holographic glitter.

Then, to create the effect of fish skin I applied one coat of my amazing China Glaze holographic glitter - you have no idea HOW sparkly it is, you can see any colour of the rainbow :)

I really have to take some daylight pictures today - maybe I even find some sun ^^

I am very happy with my design and will for sure re-create it one day :)

31 Day Challenge 2012 - Day 28: Inspired By A Flag

Hey Everybody :)

I am back ^^ Still ill but way better and now I was able today to do my flag-nails, since I am already 24h too late :D

I choose the flag on Finland since it is just the most bautiful country in the world <3
I live there now since 4 years and I think it is the most wonderful experience I ever made. I hope to stay many more years :)

Polishes I used:

•  O.P.I. "Yodel Me On My Cell"
• Sally Hansen Gem Crush "Showgirl Chic"
• Sally Hansen Insta Dri "Whirlwind White"

I used 2 coats of the beautiful dark shimmery blue and used tape and white to create the finnish flag on 2 of my nails. Then I choose the amazing silver/blue glitter polish to create a glitter-tip on the other 3 nails.

I think it turned out super nice and I am sad that I have to remove it already.

31 Day Challenge 2012 - Day 27: Inspired By Artwork

Hiii!!!

I had such an amazing idea for a nail design but it turnd out as quit a fail because I used a brush for the black branches and not a striper :-P
At least the sponged background was good ^^

I would like to try it again one day and try to make it better :)
