Nautic Nail Design

Moin moin ;)

These post will be pretty short, just wanted to show you the design I made with O.P.I.´s "Suzi Says Feng Shui" as a base colour.

It was a little too complicated to make a tutorial, sorry :) But maybe it will be kind of an inspiration.

And finally the result:

China Glaze "White On White"
Have to check the rest a home :D

O.P.I. "Suzi Says Feng Shui"

Welcome Back!

I swatched today one of the brand new polishes which just arrived yesterday - of course, I had to :D

It is a very beautiful creme medium blue. Not totally bright, more between light blue and petrol. Absolutely gorgeous, take a look for yourself:

I am in love with it *_*

Very smooth to apply and I just needed one coat fo full coverage.
Average dry time.

I created a very nice design with it as a base today, check it out on the weekend :)

My New Treasures!

Hi Again!

I just wanted to show you quickly which polishes just found a new home in my box at home today :)

(left to right)
Wet n Wild Megalast "I Need A Refresh-Mint"
O.P.I. "Suzi Says Feng Shui"
O.P.I. "Thanks A Windmillion"
O.P.I. "Dont Mess With OPI"

Aww I love them :) Especially the blue O.P.I. looks just gorgeous!

Which of them would you like to see as a swatch in the next days?

See you :)

Polka Dots Become Rings

Hello Everybody!

Here is the super easy design I created out of the polish I used for my last swatch.
All you need is basically a dotting tool or another tool you can create dots with.

I always use old lids to drop my nail polis on, it works super great and at some point you just throw them away ;)
I used both Isadora polishes to create big dots on all of my nails.

On one hand I used both colours.

On the other hand I only used the yellow polish. I wanted to see which looked better in the end.

Wait until your dots are dry and then create slightly smaller dots inside of them with your base nail polish colour. These will create the illusion of rings.
Here the hand with both colours.

And here the other one with just yellow.

I think I liked the design with 2 colours better, but your options are endless, you could use 1375 polishes if you want to :D

Polishes I used

Isadora Wonder Nail "623 Doll Pink"
Isadora Wonder Nail "653 Mellow Yellow"
Models Own "Peaches & Cream"
Mavala Mavadry

See you tomorrow for a brand new swatch!

Models Own "Peaches & Cream"

Good Evening!

I have a new polish to show you. I bought it just yesterday because I still missed some nice peachy shade in my collection. I dont like red or orange that much, but this one seemed to be way softer.

It actually is a very bright, almost neon-like peach and I started during the daytime to actually like it.

But take a look for yourself:

In artificial light (sorry for the quality)

All the pictures where taken with 2 coats of polish and a topcoat.

These polish is bright and creamy. But the application was absolutely not nice.
The brush is super tiny which makes it really hard to apply smooth because you will need so many brush strokes. The polish was thick and hard to manage. The second layer helped to smooth out some mistakes but still it was very hard.

Dry time was as well pretty long, but I used a fast drying topcoat in the end.

I actually like Models Own but they seriously should think about creating wider brushes.

See you on wednesday!
