This book is something very special for me. I grew up with it. I was 11 when I started to read his stories, same age as he was at this time. I feared and cried and laughed so much. We have a lot things in common, the weirdst one is the birthdate :) Yes we both are born on july 31th ^_^

I think the animation is made so amazing, the caracteres are awesome, especially Pascal & Maximus ;)
Btw this nail design will be as well my entry for a nice german blog-contest - you have to create a nail design or eye makeup, inspired by Disney, and you can win a nice nailpolish :)

Today´s topic is very important and personal for me because I choose my favourite song ever!
HIM - The Funeral of Hearts
I totally fell for this band when I was 14 years old and it was a song which stuck forever in my head. I just love it so much!
And now, 11 years later, I create a nail design inspired by the lyrics and the official music video :)
I would say, watch the video first and then check my pictures:
I tried to create a light blue/grey/black background like in the video and then painted a few symbols which appear in the lyrics. Sun, moon, wind (I choose clouds instead) and fire.
And of course the Heartagram, the band logo.

I started with a light blue/grey gradient and after I painted the symbols with a tiny sponge and a toothpick on my nails. The black tip is painted with the nail art polish´s brush.

Yeah, the last 10 "inspired by..." days started today!
I think these are the hardest challenges but I´ll try to do my very best *_*
I inspired myself today by a beautiful awesome polish I fell immediately in love with when I saw the first swatches. It is "Every Day Is Oktoberfest" from the O.P.I. Germany Collection.
It is a vampy superdark whine-red, or basically black with whine red shimmer. Extremely genious! And since I just love dark, especially black polishes, I HAD to get it!
I don´t wanted to spoil these amazing polish with some weird patterns etc, so I just set a accent nail with Essie light pink glitter and applied a light pink rhinestone on top of all nails.
