Hallo Hallo ;)
Today I am very excited to show you a detailed picture tutorial of one of my most loved nail-arts ever : Galaxy Nails!!!
These post will be VERY picture heavy, but I guess you guys will not mind, hm? ^_^
(left to right)
- China Glaze "Smoke And Ashes"
- China Glaze "White On White"
- Golden Rose No. 221
- China Glaze "Gothic Lolita"
- China Glaze "Calypso Blue"
- Nubar "Blue Siren"
Use a black polish as a base colour. I used a one with tiny tiny glitter in it.
Use a tiny part of a sponge and a tweezer + white polish to create the next step.
Sponge on some random shapes. It is supposed to look like a "Nebula"
You will need these white to make the next colours appear bright and visible on top
of the black polish. Without the white base they would be hardly visible.
Now sponge on some light pink (or another very light colour) in the middle of the white Nebula.
I know, on the pics looks like there is no pink - but if you enlarge it you will maybe see it :D
(damn old camera...)
On the edge of the pink you will now apply some purple (or another darker shade polish)
Now sponge on some very dark blue. This will create a nice fading effect between the purple and the black.
Grab a tothpick, a needle or the end of a dotting tool and create with white polish some random stars. Bigger and smaller ones.
Now apply a glitter polish with very few glitter in it to make even more stars, apply a topcoat and you are ready :) Here some sun-pictures of my finnished design.
Try it! It looks hard but is VERY fast and easy to re-create :)
See you next time!!!
