Dance Legend - Android

Happy Sunday!

It´s sooo hot today outside, but I somehow have nothing to do and slept a lot and stayed in my room. Boring sunday :) But at least I have my little blog to work on ^^

Today I have an awesome holographic polish to show you. Actually I have 3 of them - today is just the start ^^

Since a few month there is a new russian nail polish brand spreading like crazy, called Dance Legend. They are just amazing and have a very wide range of collections, from sand finnish to neons, nudes, glitters etc. But their holographic polish collection "New Prism" is just breathtaking!

The one I wear right now is called "Android", a grass green beauty with an amazing holographic effect.

But, let the pictures talk, shall we? :D Oh, the holographic effect in real was much stronger, my camera was just not able to capture it perfectly :)

And now 2 pictures how it looks like in the shadow. No holographic effect, but it's still a very pretty green. In artificial light it is shimmering already a little more.

I wore 2 coats of Android, with OPI Nail Envy basecoat and a fast drying topcoat, it's a very opaque polish. The topcoat did not dull the holographic effect at all. As well you don´t need a special aqua basecoat. These Dance Legend holos are VERY easy, no special preperation and care needed :)

I purchased mine direct on the official russian homepage. It´s a very nice service and low shipping - it just took around 8 weeks until it arrived. That's the only minus. But I knew it :)
You can as well wait for a new restock and grab yours from Llarowe.

Enjoy the last weekend-day ^^

Jindie Nails - Rave

Hi Everybody!

Today I have a older manicure I still wanted to show you, even it´s already weeks ago that I wore it :)

Please excuse these pictures, my cuticles were soooo messy and the polish was already worn 3 days when I finally decided to take some final pics :D Just try to focus on the color ^^

Rave is a white based crelly with a lot of neon colored glitter hexes in different sizes. Very summery and playful.

I used two thicker coats for full opacity, and it was easy to apply. I haven't had to fish for any of the glitter :)

The last picture I wanted to show you was taken 2 days after Juhannus, the finnish midsummer celebration. It´s the longest and lightest day of the year. In northern Finland it will not turn dark at all, and in the south where I live it stays at least pretty light, you could be still able to read the page of a book :)
So...yeah I took a pic of my nails, the light comes from a street latern ^^

You can purchase Jindie Nails on Llarowe and on their Etsy page.
Have an awesome weekend :-*

Shimmer - Tammy

Welcome Back :)

I was on a beautiful wedding, around 3 weeks ago, and I wore a black dress with white and purple flower pattern. So I needed to find a nice polish for these event which fits and is ultra sparkly and outstanding. And: I found one :)

It is the first Shimmer polish I ever tried, and it was to die for! Tammy is a polish LOADED with purple, black and gold tiny glitter, and has as well some silver bar glitter inside. It´s incredible.

I layered it over a pretty red toned purple from Essence, oh well I forgot the name, will search for it tomorrow - today the digging in my polish box would wake up my flatmates :D

I have to say that these polish was incredible hard to capture in pictures, and my cam didn´t want to focus a lot. I took like 20 pics and ended up with uploading 7 of them, the rest was not very great. These polish you just have so see with your own eyes :)

Pictures in sunlight.

Pictures in shadow.

I used 1 coats of Tammy over my purple base coat, and it was extremely easy to apply. There is so much glitter on your brush, you don´t need to dig for it at all. :) It´s a bomb!

You can purchase Shimmer´s polishes on Etsy.

Have a great new week!!

Dollish Polish - Yeyaah!!

Hey Guys!

Today I wanna show you another great Dollish Polish beautie, which I wore a few weeks ago.

It is out of her cartoon-collection and has the funny name Yeayaah!! I think is is named after the american Regular Show and it´s main characters, a blue jay called Mordecai and a raccoon called Rigby.

I sadly never saw these show but I love the polish, which is enough for me right now ^^

Yeayaah!! is a muted shimmer-blue with very big white hex glitter and small hex glitter in blue, brown, and white. It is a very interesting combination :)

I really like it, these polish is very unique and nice. I used 2 thicker coats, and it applied very easy. I just did NOT manage to get any of the huge white hexes on my nails..sad. But I as well did not take it upside down, which was for sure the mistake.

Like always, you can purchase Dolly´s creations on Llarowe and in her own shop.

Enjoy the sun :)

Dollish Polish - I'm a Material Girl

Good morning my dear addicted friends :D

Yesterday I was on an awesome wedding and I am still so excited, as well used a great purple/golden indie polish for my nails, but these one I will just show you in between the next week :)

TODAY I have again swatches from one of my all time favourite indie makers: Dollish Polish.

A few weeks ago there was a chance to order older polishes out of her very first collections, and I surely did ^^ Got a few nice goodies, and one was "I´m a Material Girl"

It´s a light pink base color with tiny light-pink glitter, black and white medium hex glitter and big black and white square glitter. Very very cute and girly :)

I couldn´t decide which pink color I wanted to layer it over, so I created a quick gradient with China Glaze Dance Baby (bottom of the nails) and China Glaze Strawberry Fields (tip of the nails).

Polishes in the shadow

And a bottle-shot :)

I´m a Material Girl was very easy to apply, and as well fishing for the bigger square glitter was totally doable. I used one coat over my gradient colors bzw ^^ I really loved these combo on my nails and it felt very summery :)

As always, you can purchase Dollish Polish´s  creations on her homepage: RIGHT HERE :D

See you soon!
